Impact of Instruction-based LEGO WeDo 2.0 Robotic and Hypermedia on Students’ Intrinsic Motivation to Learn Science

Robots and hypermedia have been used as effective technological tools in the educational field. Despite their benefits, there are no studies investigating impact on primary students’ intrinsic motivation field of science. For these reasons, study aims to recognize employing LEGO WeDo 2.0 robotic learn science among students. The implemented quasi-experimental approach with a dual group design. experimental (n=25) was instructed force motion topic using instruction-based hypermedia, while control traditional instruction. conducted Jordan involved fifty data gathered by administering developed Intrinsic Motivation Towards Learning Science Scale both groups at pre post-points; ANCOVA analysis revealed significant effect favor increasing α = 0.05. These results recommend instructors employ robots foster motivation. It also encourages decision-makers institutions make decisions related curriculum its instructional methods.
